The Red Door Hunger Drive was a great success!

Thanks to your kindness and generosity, the Bowery Mission's Red Door Hunger Drive was a great success! Even with the huge challenge that superstorm Sandy caused, we were able to serve everyone who came to our red doors a warm holiday meal, and offer the opportunity to a changed live.

After expanding our outreach to hard-hit areas by the superstorm, such as Staten Island and Far Rockaway, your gifts of time and money provided more than 112,100 meals and over 80,000 pounds of supplies and pantry items.

On Thanksgiving Day alone, we served a record-breaking 8,370 meals!

We are grateful for your compassion and generosity, for serving alongside with us during Thanksgiving week and responding to the holiday match!
